Nuclear Industrial Support Unit

Nuclear Industrial Support Unit supports Finnish nuclear field by joint marketing, training for bidding, promoting new industrial structures (project collaboration, joint ventures etc) and input in R&D projects, arranging networking events, and by proving an information portal. The unit was the first spin-out of the FinNuclear programme.

Milestones of the FinNuclear –concept:

In 2007, FinNuclear -programme was launched by the initiative of Prizztech Oy as a part of Energy Technology Cluster within the Centre of Expertise Programme (OSKE). The funding comes from OSKE and from private sector.

In 2009, Nuclear Industrial Support Unit was established within Prizztech Oy, as a spin-out of FinNuclear -programme.

Also in 2009, Finnish Nuclear Suppliers' Group was established in collaboration with the Federation of Finnish Technology Industries and FinNuclear -programme.

In 2011, a nation-wide FinNuclear Association was established with nearly 40 organizations.

In 2013 Prizztech Oy Nuclear -unit provides services to about 90 companies belonging to the FinNuclear Association and Finnish Nuclear Suppliers' Group.
