Due to many nuclear facilities and Finnish overall expertise in large-scale projects, there are plenty of Finnish competencies applicable to nuclear technology. The strongest of these include services like project management, engineering & design, training, inspections, quality and documentation management and maintenance solutions, but also component and material supplies such as heavy metal components, pumps, emergency diesel generators, electrical and automation systems, radiation control systems, just to mention few.

Many Finnish companies have references from various life-cycle phases of the Finnish nuclear reactor units, but also from abroad.

Prior to launching FinNuclear programme, Prizztech Oy has been actively networking Finnish industries through various projects as Satakunta Centre of Expertise since 1990s. FinNuclear concept has its roots in FinnFusion project, which focused on promoting Finnish industrial participation to fusion-related R&D projects.
