Circular Bio

The Circular Bio project aims to strengthen bioeconomy and circular economy business activities in the Ostrobothnia and Satakunta regions. The project focuses on developing new solutions for utilizing industrial side streams, enhancing the role of biogas plants, and improving the use of waste heat as part of the green transition. The initiative brings together regional companies, municipalities, and development organizations while highlighting new business opportunities.

The project is implemented in the Ostrobothnia and Satakunta regions, with a particular focus on SMEs in Kristinestad and Satakunta. Additional beneficiaries include local municipalities, educational organizations, and residents, who will gain access to new knowledge, networks, and practical development models.

The project has received EU rural development funding and is implemented by Business Kristinestad and Prizztech Oy. The project implementation period is from 1 January to 31 December 2026.
