Satakunta is a reagion of food industry and agriculture, where biogas production is connected. There alreary exists few biogas plants and new ones are under design. Biogas plants collect large amounts of nutrition rich organic wastes from agriculture, food industry and households as a raw material of the process. Residual sludges from the plants are potential fertilizers.

In this project an optimal nutrient recycling logistics for residual sludges from three different biogas plants is designed.

Our partner in this project is Pyhäjärvi-instituutti. The project is funded by European agricultural fund.
