Water Responsibility of the Kokemäki River Technology Metals Cluster

The aim of the project is to create an overall understanding of the water impacts and opportunities for developing water responsibility within the industrial zone along the Kokemäki River. The objective is to improve the industrial cluster’s opportunities for expansion alongside the growing demand for metals while ensuring that local water impacts are effectively managed.
The project promotes dialogue and cooperation between different stakeholders, enabling the joint development of water responsibility practices. At the same time, the project highlights responsibility measures already implemented in relation to water impacts and strengthens the Green Satakunta brand of the battery and technology metals cluster.
The project is implemented with funding from the Regional Council of Satakunta through the AKKE programme for supporting the sustainable growth and vitality of regions.
The project implementation period is from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2025.
